Muhammad Nasir is a lecturer in English Language and Literature at the English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Ar-Raniry Darussalam Banda Aceh. Nasir earned his Masters degree in English Literature at the University of Indonesia (UI) in 2000, and completed his doctoral studies in the same field, namely Contemporary English Literature, especially Feminist and Post Colonial Literature at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2011. As well as teaching Nasir (cutsir) also active in various youth organizations such as KNPI, BMK Kosgoro 1957 as well as community organizations such as SOKSI from 2000 until now. Besides that, he is also active in martial arts organizations such as Muaythai, Indonesian Free Fighting and Jiujitsu. He is also one of the national referees in the field of martial arts. During the conflict, Muhammad Nasir was also involved in providing assistance to international journalists who wanted to cover events that befell the people of Aceh from 1997 to 2000, and after the tsunami, He helped build Aceh and worked at IOM and Americare to treat former combatants while empowering them. Among his writings that are in great demand is “Islamic Shari’a and Ngangkang Style” which was published in 2013 in the Miqot Journal.
