PENDIDIKAN

Nashriyah is a senior lecturer at the Department of English Language Education, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Ar-Raniry State Islamic University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Nashriyah holds Ph.D. from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung, Indonesia, in General and Character Education (2018). She completed two master degrees, one is from Leiden University, The Netherlands, majoring in Islamic Studies (1998), and the other one is from University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom, majoring in Applied Linguistics (2009). Her research interests include English teaching, textbooks analysis, gender and child issues. Some of her publications are: “Addressing Gender Bias Issues in Elementary School EFL Textbooks: An Analysis of Grow with English”; “Gender Awareness and Beliefs of Pre-service English Language Teachers in Aceh”; The Implementation of Problem-Based Learning Model to Improve Gender Awareness of Pre-service English Teachers”.
